We have a small, academic library. Our books complement the courses we teach. The collection is good, but some of the books are older and you may want to supplement with books from the public libraries, other community colleges, or the University of Washington.

Shoreline Community College subscribes to 20,000 full-text online books. Search for them with our catalog or from ebrary itself.

ACLS Humanities E-Book (HEB) is an online collection of approximately 3,700 books of high quality in the humanities, accessible through institutional and individual subscription. These titles are offered by the ACLS in collaboration with twenty learned societies, over 100 contributing publishers, and librarians in the MPublishing Division of the University of Michigan Library. The result is an online, fully searchable collection of high-quality books in the Humanities, recommended and reviewed by scholars. These are works of major importance that remain vital to both scholars and advanced students, and are frequently cited in the literature.

This is the mother of all catalogs. It searches for your book across all libraries in Washington State, including King County Library System, Seattle Public Library, Sno-Isle Libraries and the University of Washington.

You cannot check out books from the UW Libraries, but you can go and read the books, journals, etc.. You can also get a copy card.

KCLS has a huge collection. It is a public library, so it does not have as many academic books as university or college libraries. You need a card to use KCLS. If you live in Seattle, you cannot have books held and transferred to your local branch.
