The ILRC describes itself as seeking to "improve immigration law and policy, expand the capacity of legal service providers, and advance immigrant rights" by training "attorneys, paralegals, and community-based advocates who work with immigrants around the country. We inform the media, elected officials, and public to shape effective and just immigration policy and law. Our staff works with grassroots immigrant organizations to promote civic engagement and social change."

Catholic Immigration Legal Services (CILS) provides quality legal immigration assistance to low-income residents of Washington. Currently, CILS provides free citizenship/N-400 application assistance to people who are currently on public benefits or living in the city of Seattle, and free citizenship and green card assistance to refugees and asylees who have been in the U.S. less than five years. CILS has two office locations: Seattle and Mt. Vernon.

LCYC "provides specialized, holistic legal advocacy for children in child welfare proceedings and other juvenile court matters. LCYC works to ensure each child’s voice is heard, unique legal rights protected, court experience enriched and life improved. LCYC advises youth who are or are at risk of becoming homeless."

This website is maintained by staff at the Northwest Justice Project (NJP). NJP is a not-for-profit statewide organization that provides free civil legal services to low-income people from 17 offices throughout the state of Washington. Each year, NJP assists more than 18,000 people in need of critical legal assistance.
