What is APA7

About APA7

There are many types of ways to handle giving credit to another person and they are called citation styles. In the Nursing field, APA7 is the correct and agreed upon method of giving credit to researchers when referring to their articles, books, or other materials. APA stands for American Psychological Association.

Other citation styles you might know are MLA, Chicago, IEEE, and Harvard.

APA Style originated in 1929, when a group of psychologists, anthropologists, and business managers convened and sought to establish a simple set of procedures, or style guidelines, that would codify the many components of scientific writing to increase the ease of reading comprehension.
