Psychology: Find Books

Use this guide to help with your psychology research, read scholarly articles, search the database, and write citations!

Finding Books

Books can go broad and deep into a subject. Use a book to get a combination of ideas, numbers, history, theory--a book can do it all.  A book is great for exploring background on a topic, while journal articles are the best resource for the most current ideas. Books about psychology might be popular or scholarly, so use your critical thinking skills to evaluate books, even if you do get them from a library.

Remember!  When searching for books using One Search on our homepage, you can always limit your results to eBooks by choosing "Available Online" on the left hand side of the results page.
