Take a tour of our trees!

Members of the College and the community are invited and encouraged to take a tour.

  • Start the tour anywhere on campus. See maps below.
  • If you don’t have time to see the whole collection at once, the campus has been broken into smaller touring zones (lettered A-J), with major plant specimens indicated in each.

Look for Tree Campus signs (see examples below) located near walkways to learn plant names, their families, and where they grow.

  • Use the QR code to find more detailed information on each plant (such as ecological, economic and cultural/historical significance). Just point your smartphone camera at the QR code, and a link will appear to take you to the learning guide for that plant. Helpful tip: to be able to use the QR code from a distance, try zooming in with your smartphone camera.
  • Color coding of common name:
Yellow
Native to the Pacific Northwest (see Douglas Fir sign)
White
Non-native

If you can’t visit campus, you can still take a “virtual tour” by visiting each plant’s website in the A-Z plant listings in the tabs above.
